District Finance-Presiding Elder's Apportionment Committee
Along with overseeing the District's financial matters,
this committee will look at the Presiding Elder's salary, upkeep, health insurance, key man insurance, travel (local and connectional),
retirement, office and secretarial expenses, and other concerns relating to the Presiding Elder's office and function.

Committee is requested to suggest programs to be implemented and has the responsibility for designing curriculum along with
outlining the cost per person in attendance for the Church School Convention.

St. Louis-Columbia District Ministry Committees (Suggested Coordinators)
The following persons will chair the
St. Louis-Columbia District ministries for the 2009-2010 Conference Year:
Economic Development Fund: Rev. Edmund E. Lowe, Sr. and Brenda Simpson
Devotional Leaders: Revs. Mary Hull-Lovett, Latrina Young and
Howard Abernathy
The "Devotional Leaders" at the call of the Presiding Elder, will provide leadership for devotions
(song, Scripture, prayer) prior to all St. Louis-Columbia District worship services and meetings where practical. The "Devotional
Leaders" will work in partnership with the "District Worship Leader" and "Prayer Ministry Coordinator"
during the aforementioned events and worship services.
Prayer Ministry: Rev. Brenda Jones and Edith Reed
This ministry is responsible
for the encouragement and empowerment of all persons in the St. Louis-Columbia District to participate in private and corporate
prayer. The Coordinator will organize workshops and take on the leadership of organizing prayer circles within the District
and, at the call of the Presiding Elder, coordinate a "prayer meeting" (a devoted period of time for members of
the District to gather for prayer) prior to the following District events: Stewards' Dedication Services; District Conference;
Church School Convention; specifically, and whenever practical. The "Prayer Ministry Coordinator" will work in partnership
with the "District Worship Leader" and "Devotional Leaders".
Music Ministry: Rev. Frederick McCullough (Wayman), Demetrius
Hatcher (Christ Our Redeemer); Michelle Keeper (St. John).
Stewardship Ministry: Rev. Edmund Lowe, Sr.
The "Stewardship"
Coordinator will provide the leadership and assist Pastors and Lay in relation to what it means to be "good stewards"
over God's ministry and ministries.
Women's Ministry: Revs. Cassandra Gould, Janice Parker, Beverly Stith
The "Women's Ministry"
Coordinator will keep the District informed of activities, services and ministries of the local and Connectional "Women
In Ministry"; and provide any needed assistance that is applicable to the female population of the District.
Youth Ministry: Revs. Lori Beason and LaKisha Reece
The
"Youth Ministry" Coordinator will provide activities, services and ministries for the Youth to actively participate
in District events. The Coordinator will also work in partnerships with the Church School Convention Committee and have an
active role in the programmed events for the same.
Health Ministry: Revs. Regina Lowe and Cheryl Fair
The "Health Ministry" Coordinator
will keep the District informed for activities, services, events and ministries pertaining to health within the communities
and the Connectional Church.
